I finally finished up Tom’s zipper bedding to match Sam’s and got the double lamp I had been spying. I’ve wanted it for so long it had dropped in price to only $20!

The boys’ shared room is complete!

My favorite parts of the room are the bright red vintage beds that have been used by various family members since the 60’s, the vintage inspired educational charts, the double headed lamp, and their dinosaurs that fuction as toys/decor.

Here is their simple but colorful shared room, perfect for little boys:

Their little knickknacks include:

a tiger stand that holds Sam’s glasses, handed down from my cousin

a simple framed match book from my grandparents’ old collection

a dinosaur plant holder from our friend and neighbor who the boys think is too cool

seashells they believe I found on the beach at a recent girls’ trip (thank you Alvin’s Island)

a vintage horse hook we use for towels from my uncle’s grandmother’s house

and those dinosaurs that are one of my favorite Amazon toy finds to date

I like that most of these items are not new and/or have a story 🙂

Hopefully this room lasts us a while so we don’t have to give up the 4th bedroom aka the playroom where I stick all the clutter!
