fall leaf hunt

I want to share pictures from our leaf hunt because they turned out so pretty. After two days of rain and a now a forecast of snow I’m happy just looking at our pretty fall creations inside.

This is one of the easiest, outdoor, energy burning activities with kids. Any season my kids are thrilled to go outside with buckets and find anything they like to bring back inside and add to our little makeshift looms.

This leaf hunt was no different with them racing each other any time they spotted a new color or type of leaf.

Check out their finds:

I propped these up against the wall in the kitchen for a little pop of fall colors inside.

Growing up I always stuck leaves in books to flatten them and even had a little press kit. I have searched Amazon for one like I had and keep coming back to this flower press. I’m keeping it as a maybe in my Amazon Christmas cart!

Hopefully we get to enjoy some more fall leaves around here and the weather doesn’t shoot straight into winter.

Happy Fall Yall!
