I loved doing posts on my recent Amazon scores for cute clothes and even maternity clothes. But I only have a few months of pregnancy left (ah!) and a pretty decent maternity stash going on, so I was thinking I’d just wait for a while before doing one of those posts again.

However, since the Amazon boxes still roll in pretty regularly, I realized I have been snagging some pretty good stuff lately that I can still share with you!

Here are some of my favorite purchases from Amazon this spring:

Balance bikes

We got this one for Tom and a little bigger version for Sam that’s not on Amazon anymore :(. We have had for a few months now and while they didn’t teach my kids to ride a bike overnight or really get anywhere close to it, they do seem to like them. Sam despised the bike with training wheels. He’d get up there all wobbly and freeze. The balance bike gives him so much more control to put his legs on the ground anytime he wants.

Even Tom at 2.5 can get in on the action. I would have never put a kid his age on a bike with training wheels, so it’s nice that he has his own big boy bike to just get him used to balancing.

Sun Sans

My favorite summer sandals for boys and girls are available on Amazon! Yes you can get them from several other places online for around the same price, but do you get free 2 day shipping with those places?

That’s what makes these a steal on Amazon for me. I can wait until Wednesday before Easter and place my order…and I did do that. These shoes are great—they can get wet and they clean up great. I dress them up or down!

Rolling Luggage

Travis won a trip that I posted about a few weeks ago and we found ourselves without decent luggage. On top of that we didn’t have much time! From the time we knew he got it til the time we took off was about a month and it just snuck up on us. We do not fly often, and when we do it’s usually for a longer vacation where we’d be checking bags. This trip was a fly out Thursday fly home Sunday deal and I thought we could swing just carrying on. Because I’m cheap and Delta charged for checked bags…And because I sort of love packing light!

These rolling carry-on bagswere amazing for the price. I couldn’t find anything that even came with $10- 15 of these anywhere—I checked JC Penney, Walmart, TJ Maxx, Dillards, etc. Not only that but when I ordered these they were on free ONE DAY shipping. Never heard of that but it sure came in handy 2 days before flying out!

Natives

I love Native Jeffersons on kids. I think they are adorable and they’re super versatile shoes. You can wear in the water or just use as a summer shoe with all those holes for breathability. They are lightweight and clean up to look like new with a magic eraser.

These are not technically a steal since Amazon has them for the same price as the website, but then again if you are an Amazon Prime member you get free two day shipping which has become something I rely on. It is worth it to scroll through the different sizes and colors because I did spy a few that were well below retail price. We also got these Native sandals! The jury is still out since we are new to these but so far so good.

Shower curtain

Does anyone remember our shower curtain wall art? Well, Tom has since moved out of the Western room and it’s being re-made for the new baby. Since I was so proud of that simple wood frame I built all by myself (aka refused help from my husband who could have done it in 5 minutes) I wanted to re-purpose it.

The playroom needed a little spicing up and re-organizing so I searched for a fun new shower curtain to use—funky deer stole the show for me. I love it for a quirky look in the playroom of the Deere boys. And no, I’m still not tired of the last name pun! Stay tuned for the spruced up playroom reveal.

Mattress and bunkie boards

Last month we made the big switch to a shared bedroom! I haven’t
posted the reveal yet because I’m searching high and low for the perfect lamp…which is about the only new thing the room will see. The real change was just adding a bed!

This meant a new mattress. I researched a ton when looking for one for Sam and went with the same one again–this mattress which is a great price on a twin! Not to mention it’s so handy to have a mattress delivered right to the door! Since the beds have a cute wagon wheel design that I painted bright red, I didn’t want to cover them up or raise the beds up too high with box springs.

Enter bunkie boards! Sam’s bed had an old vintage one but we didn’t find a second one. So I went with this two pack. It creates a perfect solid surface and mattress support but keeps a low profile—win win!

As you can see I never seem to run out of things to buy on Amazon. If you are in the market for summer kids shoes, luggage, bikes, or any of these other random items–they all get my seal of approval 

Thanks for reading, friends!
